Especially when you’re choosing a small, private salon rather than a familiar chain with hundreds of locations and a name you’ve seen everywhere. Q: Does my dog get to roam your house and/or yard?
A: For the safety of your pet, we require all pets to be leashed, or crated inside AND outside while in your control. Access to home for owners and pets is completely off limits.
Q: Is the grooming area clean and sanitary?
A: While we are a home based location, we highly prioritize a professional and sanitary environment. All tools are sanitized in-between each dog, and all kennels and stations are disinfected using Virex.
Q: Can I drop my dog/cat off early?
A: Any customer arriving earlier than 15 minutes of scheduled appointment time must contact us first for approval.
Q: What if my dog/cat is aggressive or reactive?
A: While our groomer is very experienced with a range of animal behavior, we reserve the right to turn away any animal if we feel that they compromise the safety of our home, or themselves.
Q: How long will my groom take?
A: 3-4 hours during busy days, but services may be finished much sooner if the schedule allows.
Q: Do you accept walk-ins?
A: No, all services require a scheduled appointment. But, quick services such as nail clipping, anal gland expression, or ear cleaning can be booked same day.
Q: Does my dog/cat have to be vaccinated?
A: The only required vaccination is rabies. We require documentation that verifies the name of your pet, and a valid expiration date.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, credit/debit, and check.
Q: My dog/cat has fleas, can you groom them?
A: Because this is a residential area with other animals and people constantly present, we have a strict NO FLEA policy! Please be mindful and courteous to us, and to other fellow customers and pets! If we find that your dog or cat has fleas during a groom, you will be charged a $20.00 flea fee, and your pet will receive flea and tick shampoo.
